About Polynt Composites USA:Polynt Composites USA is a global leader in the manufacturing of composites, coatings, and chemical intermediates, serving key industries such as industrial, transportation, construction, marine, medical, and consumer goods.The plant EHS Manager assures the safety of plant personnel through compliance with occupational safety and health regulations and maintains the attitude that all accidents are preventable. This position reports to the plant manager.Key Responsibilities:

Follows instructions and requests from management. Exchanges work information with and communicates well with others. Stays current and follows established Federal, State, and local requirements Reports to work on time and is dependable.

Loss Control

· Maintains compliance with the Process Safety Management (PSM), conducts Loss Control and Prevention plant inspections, includes reporting deficiencies to the SITE Manager, and follows up through corrective actions

· Responsible for updates of all SPs as required by PSM

ISO Representative

· Responsible for the initial training and updating of new hires, relating to ISO Certification

· Responsible for implementing and maintaining ISO Certification and following the requirements of ISO 9001:2015

· Responsible for Document and Data Control, following the requirements of ISO 9001:2015

EHS

· Responsible for all health, safety, and environmental training of the plant employees as required by Federal, State, and local regulations, and by Corporate EHS training policies.

· Maintain up-to-date training files on all plant employees

· Responsible for the timely completion of incident reports and transmissions to corporate EHS

· Maintain files on all plant MOC’s and Process Hazard Analysis reviews

· Track and schedule updates as required

· Assist in maintaining the plant Emergency Response Plan

· Determine root cause and corrective actions for customer quality concerns and non-conforming batches

· Maintains professional procedures, record keeping, and training for the QA staff

· Participation in general plant management

· Ensures consistency of batch processing techniques between shifts and employees, relative to safety and quality

· Maintains central files

Environmental Management

· Identifies and recommends improvements to the system

· Assist in needed sampling for environmental requirements

Safety

· Completes Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety/Work instruction Training, and OSHA Standards Training.

· Complies with departmental and job safety practices, including wearing protective equipment.

· Other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, college education a plus

· Above average computer knowledge

· Above average Excel & PowerBI knowledge

· Good communicator

· Excellent writing skills

· Display good leadership qualities

· Possesses the ability to work with numbers
