What you will have an opportunity to do:
DESCRIPTION:
The Waterfront Porter is responsible for but not limited to setting up and breaking down the Beach, Pool and all other Waterfront areas on a daily basis. Shift is a “split shift” working 3 hours in the morning to set up the Waterfront and working 5 hours in the evening breaking down the Waterfront.   Other responsibilities include:
Responsible for the operation, cleanliness and maintenance of pool and beach
Handling all equipment rental, set up and maintenanceÂ
Assisting guests with towels, cabanas, equipment rentals, and lounge chairs
Daily vacuuming and skimming of pools
Providing hotel guests with a quality pool and beach experience by demonstrating superior guest service
What are we looking for?
REQUIREMENTS:
Outgoing personality
Ability to perform job functions with great attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and organize
Able to follow direction thoroughly
Able to work under variable temperature & weather conditions (hot, humid, cool, sunny, rainy, etc.)
Able to work with cleaning supplies and chemicals such as bleach
Cleanliness, beach raking, set up and breakdown of waterfront furniture and cabanas
Complete daily checklist to ensure that all duties are completed
Exert physical effort in transporting 50 lbs. of equipment
Compensation:
$13.50 / hour-
