Production Operator- 3rd shift

Job DetailsJob Location: Chatsworth, IL 60921Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 HourlyJob Shift: Third Prinsco is looking for a Manufacturing Tech III to join our team. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing team member who can operate production equipment, support maintenance activities, and help lead safe and efficient production. This role plays a critical part in maintaining line performance and product quality while supporting team development and continuous improvement. What you will do • Operate production equipment, including start up and shut down procedures, in a safe and efficient manner • Maintain production flow by working at appropriate line speed and minimizing downtime • Perform mechanical adjustments, repairs, and changeovers during production as needed • Support electrical work as trained and required • Operate forklift to move finished product • Assist with changeovers and support production line needs • Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and report any issues immediately • Complete accurate production reporting and documentation • Promote and support a strong safety culture, correcting unsafe behaviors when needed • Assist and support other team members across the production floor • Support training and development of team members as skills allow • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to drive efficiency and quality QualificationsWhat you will bring • High school diploma or GED or currently working toward completion • Manufacturing or production experience required • Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude • Ability to follow safety procedures and production processes • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment  What will set you apart • Experience with machine setup, changeovers, and maintenance • Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience • Prior experience training or mentoring others • Forklift experience Why join Prinsco • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunity to grow into leadership and advanced technical roles • Team focused environment with a strong safety culture • Ongoing training and development opportunities
