Job Summary and Responsibilities

Every day you will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage complex care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you will possess an enthusiastic, patient-first mindset, keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency, thriving in a dynamic clinical setting where no two days are alike.

  • Skilled performance in extreme life threatening emergencies.
  • Prioritizing, coordinating, and meeting multiple patient needs and requests in a timely manner.
  • Anticipating and preventing periods of extreme workload within a shift as evidenced by good time management and organizational skills.
  • Detection and documentation of significant changes in a patient’s condition.
  • Assist patients to understand their illness and the effects of lifestyle including diet, activity, smoking and weight loss.
  • Assess and evaluates a patient’s readiness to learn, and consider factors affecting a patient’s learning ability and knowledge level.
