Janitorial Lead Cleaner / Section Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Lead Cleaner (Section Lead) to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will perform general cleaning duties while inspecting work areas to ensure clean, high-quality standards across all assigned spaces.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $16.00 – $18.00 / hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Location: Cameron Hill Circle, Chattanooga, TN 37412
• Benefits: Full-time benefits available after 90 days of employment!

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, pulling trash, and cleaning/sanitizing restrooms.

Inspect and check behind teams of cleaners to verify tasks are completed accurately and according to schedule.

Ensure all assigned sections meet safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards.

Address immediate cleaning requests and report supply or maintenance needs to management.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background Check & Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
• Experience: 1–3 years of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for quality and ability to lead by example.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and comfortable working independently or with a team.
