Key Responsibilities

As a Carpenter, you will handle everything from structural framework to high-end finish work.

  • Construction & Installation: Build, install, and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, flooring, and roofing using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and calculate material needs to ensure precision from the start.

  • Finishing Work: Prepare surfaces for paint by sanding, scraping, and filling joints/cracks for a seamless finish.

  • Facility Oversight: Conduct regular structural inspections (siding, tile, glass, woodwork) and execute corrective repairs.

  • Security Maintenance: Perform scheduled checks on all entry/exit doors; perform emergency repairs to ensure facility safety.

  • Safety Leadership: Build safe scaffolding, follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols, and maintain a clean, professional job site.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 4+ years of professional residential or commercial carpentry experience.

  • Technical Skill: Expert proficiency with woodworking machinery and power tools.

  • Physical Ability: Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working from ladders or scaffolding.

  • Reliability: Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

  • Must be 18+ years of age.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
