What You'll Do

  • Determine work sequence and equipment required to perform assigned tasks
  • Hire, train, evaluate and discharge staff as required.
  • Inspects equipment for wear and completed work for conformance to standards.
  • Observes work procedures to ensure safety, and quality
  • Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and general housekeeping for assigned department and proximal areas
  • Review production schedule and inventory to determine staffing, duty assignments and work schedules
  • Workforce management including discipline and training

What You'll Need

  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures and/or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems.
  • Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work.
  • Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with industry standards.
  • Excellent understanding of written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, techniques for maximizing the manufacture of concrete products.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the supervision of others

Your Education

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
