The Outside Sales Executive owns sales within their assigned territory through proactive prospecting, technical solution development, and consistent customer engagement. This role is accountable for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and driving opportunities from first touch through project completion.
This is a hybrid sales + technical + project ownership role. Success requires a high level of autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer value. Outside Sales Executives are expected to operate in the field daily, maintain disciplined pipeline management, and take full ownership of their territory performance.
Due to the nature of Prestige’s business, this role requires a willingness to operate both strategically and tactically, balancing relationship-building, engineering-based solution development, and internal coordination to bring projects to life.

1. Territory Ownership & Business Development
You own the growth and performance of your assigned territory.
You are responsible for:
- Prospecting and developing new business opportunities on a consistent basisÂ

2. Customer Relationships & Account Management

4. Proposal Development & Project Execution Support
You own the progression of opportunities from concept to close—and through execution.
You are responsible for:
- Collaborating with office staff and management to develop accurate proposalsÂ
- Ensuring all required details are captured for pricing and scope developmentÂ
- Driving opportunities forward with urgency and clear next stepsÂ
- Maintaining involvement after purchase order through installation completionÂ
- Supporting coordination between the customers, internal teams, and vendorsÂ
- Helping ensure projects are delivered as sold and aligned with customer expectationsÂ
5. Pipeline Management, CRM & Reporting
You own the accuracy, visibility, and progression of your sales pipeline.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining all activity, opportunities, and updates within HubSpot (CRM)Â
- Entering activity in real time throughout the day—not delayed reportingÂ
- Clearly documenting next steps, project status, and key detailsÂ
- Providing visibility to leadership on pipeline health and forecastÂ
- Communicating regularly on:Â

- Key wins and developmentsÂ
- Using CRM data to improve follow-up, organization, and close ratesÂ
6. Daily Activity Execution & Time Management
Your time must be structured to maximize sales productivity.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining consistent field activity, including cold visits, scheduled meetings, and follow-upsÂ
- Beginning each day with a clear plan of target accounts and objectivesÂ
- Ending each day with documented outcomes and defined next stepsÂ
- Balancing field time with necessary inside work (quotes, follow-ups, coordination)Â
- Using downtime effectively to:Â
- Build pipelineÂ
- Schedule future meetingsÂ
- Advance existing opportunitiesÂ
- Align internally on active projectsÂ
- Ensuring your daily activity directly supports pipeline growth and revenue generationÂ
7. Internal Coordination & Cross-Functional Alignment
You own effective coordination between Sales and the rest of the organization.
You are responsible for:
- Working closely with Inside Sales, Operations, and Leadership to move projects forwardÂ
- Communicating clearly on project requirements, timelines, and customer expectationsÂ
- Identifying and addressing obstacles that may delay progressÂ
- Seeking input and support when needed to improve outcomesÂ
- Contributing feedback to improve internal processes, offerings, and efficiencyÂ
8. CRM Development & Continuous Improvement
You support the evolution of sales systems and processes.
You are responsible for:
- Partnering with the Director of Marketing & Technology and leadership to refine CRM usageÂ
- Providing feedback on tools, workflows, and reporting needsÂ
- Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the sales processÂ
- Adapting to new systems, tools, and processes as the company evolvesÂ
9. Professional Standards & Company Asset Responsibility
You own your professionalism and the proper use of company resources.
You are responsible for:
- Representing Prestige with professionalism in all settingsÂ
- Properly using and maintaining company-issued vehiclesÂ
- Following all safety guidelines and company policiesÂ
- Keeping vehicles clean, organized, and presentableÂ
- Reporting any vehicle issues, incidents, or maintenance needs promptlyÂ
- Maintaining accurate records (e.g., fuel receipts, mileage) as requiredÂ
Daily Operating Expectations
Outside Sales Executives are expected to operate with a high level of structure and accountability:
- The business hours of Prestige are Monday-Friday from 7 AM – 5 PM EST, however, as an Outside Sales Executive, these hours must be flexible to best fit the customer’s availability and needs and will entail extended hours, some weekends or overnight travel.
- Begin and end each day in the office unless this is out of the way from scheduled meetings approved by management
- Participate in daily check-ins (whether in person or on the road) to align on priorities and schedulingÂ
- Maintain consistent field activity throughout the dayÂ
- Record all activity in real time within CRM systemsÂ
- Conduct end-of-day reviews to ensure alignment, progress, and visibilityÂ
This structure is designed to ensure consistency, improve performance, and maintain alignment across the sales team.
Accountability
This role is directly accountable for:
