Job Summary:

Β The Production Associate Level 1 safely operates and manages different machines and equipment used in Moldtech’s parts production process. This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.



Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Comfortable with hand tools, presses, or basic machinery. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.

2. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.

3. Measures completed parts using precision tools to ensure they meet functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.

4. Maintains logs and records of units produced, which includes a record of errors that lead to rejected or discarded pieces.

5. Inspects equipment before use to ensure correct setup and alignment; performs basic routine adjustments and maintenance tasks.

6. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.

7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

4. Proficient with Tools and Equipment – Confident using hand tools, presses, and basic measurement devices (calipers, gauges).

5. Effective Communication – Can communicate issues to supervisors and collaborate with coworkers.

6. Training New Hires – May assist in orienting or mentoring new employees on basic tasks and procedures.

7. Responsive to Feedback – Accepts coaching constructively and applies it.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift 50 at a time.

2. Prolonged periods of standing, using tools, and performing repetitive tasks.
