Job Summary
Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facilities department. Provides daily control over data input sources, report generation, and information/documentation control.Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions:
-Coordinates and controls all department correspondence.
-Inputs and updates the hospitalās preventative maintenance program and issues all related work orders.
-Responsible for scheduling meetings and inspections for department staff members.
-Orders equipment and stock to adequately supply various shops such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
-Updates and maintains department policy and procedure manuals as required by the JCAHO, state, and local agencies.
-Reports equipment in need of repair, such as elevators, fire alarm systems, etc., to appropriate service companies and follow through with outstanding work orders.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Secretarial experience 3-5 years required
