Manufacturing Operator- Press (We’ll Train You!)

2nd Shift (3PM – 11PM) | Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Overtime Opportunities

What You'll Do

 

As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll help keep our printing operation running smoothly by:

  • Setting up and operating single- and multi-color offset printing presses.
  • Reading job instructions and preparing the press for each project.
  • Installing printing plates, adjusting registration, and preparing the press for production.
  • Making color and quality adjustments to ensure every job meets our standards.
  • Monitoring equipment during production and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to keep presses running smoothly.
  • Working safely while collaborating with a supportive team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a high school diploma or GED.
  • Can read a tape measure and perform basic math, including working with fractions and decimals.
  • Has mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with equipment.
  • Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work.
  • Can read and follow job specifications and make equipment adjustments as needed.
  • Works well with others and has a positive attitude.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with Press operations.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role that includes:

  • Standing for long periods
  • Frequently using your hands to operate equipment
  • Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving equipment and varying noise levels. 
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety footwear.
