About the role
The Site Project Manager is the permanent, on-site owner of project delivery at the client’s data centers. Once a site is live, you own the projects that keep it running and improving — retrofits, upgrades, expansions, equipment refreshes, and the cross-functional coordination operations depends on. You are the single point of accountability for getting site projects done safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to live operations.
You'll own projects end to end — scope, schedule, vendors, and budget — partnering closely with operations and facilities, engineering, and outside contractors.
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years deploying and managing infrastructure, construction, facilities, or data center projects end to end
• Site-based: able to be on site at a data center full time
• Demonstrated ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, and vendors with minimal oversight
• Working understanding of data center or critical-facilities environments and how to execute projects without disrupting live operations
• Experience managing contractors and vendors on active sites
• Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes in a fast-moving environment
• Proficiency with project tracking and scheduling tools (Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with new deployments, retrofits, upgrades, or capital projects in live data centers or critical facilities
• Familiarity with commissioning, MEP, power and cooling, or structured cabling
• Background bridging construction/deployment handover into operations
• Experience having delivered a data center deployment or build
• PMP or CAPM, DCD, CDCP, BICSI, ITIL Foundation
• Lean or Six Sigma, or SOP / process-development experience
