As a Shop Technician, you will..
Deliver World-Class Customer Experiences
- Deliver quality service to customers by executing the Strickland Brothers Experience in each role (Greeter, Hood, Pit).
- Greet customers and safely guide vehicles into the service bay.
- Communicate clearly with customers throughout the service and review completed work.
- Provide recommendations on maintenance services and support service presentations.
- Use company systems to process fleet services and support smooth daily shop operations.

Hands-On Service Work (Greeter, Hood, Pit)
- Perform oil changes and other services while following company procedures.
- Execute technician duties across Greeter, Hood, and Pit roles as trained.
- Complete required safety checks and verify service accuracy with team members.
- Follow proper callouts and communication to ensure safe and efficient service flow.
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper tools and equipment
- Help identify vehicle concerns and communicate them to the team
- Work together with your team to maintain a safe, efficient shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Hold road signs and perform other tasks as needed.
- Support team workflow by assisting in different roles based on business needs.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Training & Development
- Participate in hands-on training and complete required certifications.
- Continuously develop skills across all service positions.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required. (NC & TX)
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills or the ability to quickly learn company systems.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in an automotive service environment.
- Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary.
