Your Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously initiate, support, train, and review activities applying all methods of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS), to improve efficiency and effectiveness for an organizational area assigned.
  • Drive and support the application of the SPS standards as lean management elements, workplace design, SCM and value stream design.
  • Deploy and train SPS methods and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SPS and share best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and projects, report their results and benefits, support management to coach the continuous improvement processes.
  • Conduct reviews of the SPS implementation status in organizational units.
  • Evaluate/report costs and benefits of the SPS projects, workshops, and initiate activities to ensure sustainability.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophy, including Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Single Piece Flow, and continuous process improvement methodologies
  • Persistent, driven, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
  • External candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for an employment visa or sponsorship
