Your Key Responsibilities
- Continuously initiate, support, train, and review activities applying all methods of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS), to improve efficiency and effectiveness for an organizational area assigned.
- Drive and support the application of the SPS standards as lean management elements, workplace design, SCM and value stream design.
- Deploy and train SPS methods and knowledge.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SPS and share best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and projects, report their results and benefits, support management to coach the continuous improvement processes.
- Conduct reviews of the SPS implementation status in organizational units.
- Evaluate/report costs and benefits of the SPS projects, workshops, and initiate activities to ensure sustainability.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, preferably within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophy, including Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Single Piece Flow, and continuous process improvement methodologies
- Persistent, driven, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
- External candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for an employment visa or sponsorship
