PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Traverse City, MI
Location: Traverse City, MI
Job Type: PRN / Per Diem
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function while delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Monitor and report patient progress and response to treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred
