Detail-oriented Database Administrator with 4+ years of experience managing Microsoft SQL Server environments, vendor-supported financial applications, and enterprise database systems. Proven ability to ensure database security, integrity, availability, and performance. Strong collaborator with business stakeholders and third-party vendors to support mission-critical systems. Experienced in ETL processes, SSRS reporting, and Windows Server environments.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Database Administrator
• Administer and maintain MS SQL Server databases ensuring security, integrity, and high availability.
• Manage database feeds, integrations, and connectivity across enterprise systems.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures, participating in DR testing exercises.
• Provide finance application configuration support to business users and coordinate issue resolution with software vendors.
• Develop and maintain operational and financial reports using SSRS.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Assist with ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading for reporting and integrations.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to manage multiple priorities including project work and production support
• Experience in equipment leasing or financial services industry is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Vendor financial applications support administration experience is a plus
• PowerShell scripting experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
• Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
• Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure) a plus
CERTIFICATIONS (Optional but Strong for This Role)
• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA – SQL Server)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) (Focuses on cloud and hybrid environments).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals.
Additional Information:
• This is a hybrid position, based in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office, three days a week, with two days remote.
