JFSNJ is seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Data Management Associate to assist with the optimization and development of our data infrastructure. 

The Data Management Associate supports the Senior Database Manager and the initiatives of the Data Team. This role focuses on data management, data integrity, reporting, and analysis, and will play a pivotal role in enhancing data systems efficiency, data reliability, and the strategic use of data across the JFSNJ system. 

Job Responsibilities: 

    • Data entry as needed, such as new constituents, constituent updates, and pledge/payment entry and approval. 
    • Data clean up as needed, such as address verification and adjustments. 
    • Data quality control and assurance, such as regular data checks to ensure compliance with established best practices for data management. 
    • Generate reports and provide data analysis on information collected in our database systems. 
    • Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems.
    • Work closely with other JFSNJ departments and agencies on data requests and tasks. 
    • Assist the Data Team in developing best practices and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency of our data systems, strengthen data reliability, and be more strategic in our use of data across the JFSNJ system. 

Required Education/Experience:

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 

Additional Technical Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams. 
    • Strong comfort level with learning new software programs. 
    • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to present and disseminate information to various levels of staff and stakeholders. 
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others. 
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing priorities and deadlines. 
    • Detail orientated, meticulous, and a strong ability to focus and manage tasks.
    • Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps a plus.
