At Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, our CSRs are a critical part of the client experience. As the first friendly face, and often the first voice, our clients encounter, this role helps set the tone for every visit. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, efficiency, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to teamwork and service excellence.

Position Overview:

This roleĀ provides exceptional front-desk and client support for our Emergency and Specialty teams. This role serves as a key communication hub between clients, doctors, and hospital departments while helping ensure a smooth, organized, and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.

A day at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital starts before you even walk through the doors. As you drive onto our beautiful working farm campus, you are greeted by some of the animals that make our hospital such a unique place to work including longhorns, emus, goats, pigs, and geese are all part of the experience. It is not your average trip into work, and that is just the beginning.Ā Forgot your coffee or breakfast on the way in? No problem. Our team enjoys access to a fully stocked breakfast bar along with free snacks available on site for staff, helping you start the day fueled and ready.Ā 

Once your shift begins, you will step into a fast-paced, team-centered hospital environment where your role truly matters. A typical day may include welcoming clients and patients, answering phones, coordinating appointments, managing check-ins and check-outs, helping with financial discussions, handling documentation, and keeping communication flowing smoothly between clients and medical teams. Throughout the day, you will help bring calm, clarity, and compassion to clients who may be stressed, worried, or navigating complex medical information.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
•
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions
•
Support check-ins, check-outs, financial conversations, and client communication
•
Maintain accurate records and manage documentation such as pet insurance, records, and faxes
•
Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and specialty teams
•
Help maintain an organized, clean, and collaborative front-desk environment

Qualifications:
• Veterinary Hospital experience preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of client service experience in reception, phones, or scheduling required
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and customer service skills
• Positive, solution-focused mindset and team-oriented approach
• Comfortable in a high-energy, emotionally dynamic environment
• Familiarity with EzyVet or Vet Radar is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
• Weekend and holiday availability required
