In the area of plants, the company provides total solutions for front-end engineering design (FEED) as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Design Engineer to join our project. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing the building structure drawings and supporting the design changes and related techniques. This position requires a strong technical understanding of structural designs, effective document control, and communication skills between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner
  • Support the overall documentation management for mechanical works, including contracts, submittals, RFAs, NCRs, and ITPs
  • Manage materials and equipment tracking, including order status, delivery schedules, and inventory control
  • Maintain up-to-date drawing files (Design drawings, Shop drawings, As-built, etc.) and ensure proper distribution to relevant teams
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
  • Coordinate with the site team to ensure that required materials and documentation are available on time
  • Communicate with clients and subcontractors to clarify documentation and material-related issues
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Mechanical Manager, including data updates and reporting


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in structural design and construction (experience level may be adjusted based on project scale)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) 



Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Tekla Structures
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Experience with BIM tools, including Revit


Preferred

  • Experience with large-scale construction projects such as industrial facilities, plants, or high-rise buildings
  • Understanding of international codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, etc.) and local regulations
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
  • U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Korean is highly preferred for better coordination with the team


Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Weekend work may be required depending on the project schedule

May occasionally be exposed to inclement or hazardous conditions, including but not limited to inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, and intense noises and travel; requiring moderate physical activities.
