Cable Technician Operations Supervisor

We’re looking for a hands-on, high-impact leader to step into the role of Cable Technician Operations Supervisor—someone who thrives in the field, leads from the front, and knows how to turn a good team into a great one.

What You’ll Do

As a key leader in our operations, you’ll own both team performance and service delivery:

  • Lead & Develop Talent – Coach, mentor, and elevate a team of cable technicians through hands-on training, performance management, and career development
  • Drive Daily Operations – Plan routes, schedules, and workloads to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Be the Problem-Solver – Step in on complex installs and service issues, guiding your team to fast, effective resolutions
  • Own Quality Control – Conduct field audits, inspect completed work, and ensure every job meets our high standards
  • Champion Safety – Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies
  • Deliver Results – Monitor KPIs like completion rates, first-time fix, and customer satisfaction—and take action to improve them
  • Bridge the Gap – Act as the connection between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service
  • Manage Resources – Oversee tools, inventory, and materials to keep your team equipped and ready
  • Improve the Business – Identify inefficiencies and implement smarter, faster ways to get the job done


What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in telecommunications, cable, or a related field
  • Strong technical expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and repair
  • A player-coach mentality—you lead by example and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with both field teams and customers
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to improve performance
  • Solid understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements


Preferred Experience

  • 3–5 years in cable, fiber, or telecom operations
  • 2+ years leading or supervising field technicians
  • Technical certifications or telecom-related education (a plus, not required)
