Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical & Lighting Controls Foreman with a strong commercial construction background to lead field operations related to electrical systems and advanced lighting controls installations. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and code requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead electrical crews in the installation of commercial electrical systems and lighting control systems
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily job site activities to meet project schedules and milestones
  • Interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and lighting control schematics
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot lighting control systems (e.g., occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, dimming systems, relay panels)
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and company safety standards
  • Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance
  • Track labor hours, materials, and productivity to maintain project budgets
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets project specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls-related issues in the field
  • Train, mentor, and develop apprentice and junior electricians
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress updates and incident reports
