We are seeking an Entry-Level Fundraising & Event Assistant to join our close-knit, mission-driven team focused on building strong community support and expanding fundraising initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, organized, and eager to begin a career in fundraising, donor relations, or event coordination.
In this role, you will use strong communication skills, initiative, and attention to detail to help identify fundraising opportunities, build relationships with supporters, and support the execution of impactful fundraising campaigns and events.
No prior experience is required—training and mentorship are provided.
Objectives of the Role
- Promote awareness of the organization's mission and community impact
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and volunteers
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and engagement strategies
- Support planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong external partnerships
- Ensure donors are engaged, informed, and appreciated
- Communicate organizational goals, programs, and impact clearly to supporters
- Assist in coordinating fundraising events and related activities
- Help track campaign performance and progress toward fundraising goals
- Support budgeting and reporting efforts related to fundraising activities
