UI/UX Developer

Position Description: MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join its team. In this role, the UI/UX Developer is responsible for the design and creation of user-facing interfaces and experiences. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites or applications function and look.
• Work closely with software engineers and product managers to implement designs.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve design.
• Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments.
• Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.
• Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.

Requirements:

• Must have and be able to maintain DoW Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field
• 3+years’ experience in user-facing design and development
• Experience working with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfaces
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and Balsamiq
• Knowledge of design standards such as Google Material Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
