Overview:

Sentara Home Care Services is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) in Norfolk, Virginia.

This is a Full Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

The shift is 8 am - 5 pm.

As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

  • Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
  • May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
  • Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
  • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Certification:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
