Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Spa Manager to join our Founding Leadership Team in Cheshire, Connecticut.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in launching a brand-new spa, building a high-performing team, creating an exceptional guest experience, and driving business growth from the ground up. As Spa Manager, you will help shape the culture, develop a successful team, and establish Hand & Stone Cheshire as the premier wellness destination in the community.

What You’ll Do

* Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Spa Associates, Licensed Massage Therapists, and Estheticians
* Drive membership growth, retail sales, client retention, and overall spa performance
* Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop top talent
* Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused culture
* Ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence
* Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to achieve business goals
* Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily spa operations
* Partner with ownership on marketing initiatives, community outreach, and business development efforts
* Maintain compliance with Hand & Stone brand standards, policies, and procedures
* Lead by example and create an environment of accountability, teamwork, and success

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum of 2 years of management experience in retail, hospitality, wellness, fitness, beauty, or spa environments
* Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving sales goals
* Strong leadership, coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Proven ability to motivate, develop, and retain employees
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Customer-focused mindset with a passion for wellness and service excellence
* Experience in membership-based sales environments is highly preferred
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment

Schedule Expectations

* Full-time position (40 hours per week)
* Flexible schedule based on business needs
* Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
* Ability to support the team during peak operating hours
* Willingness to respond to operational and staffing needs as they arise
