The role, at a glance:

Biamp is currently seeking a Manufacturing Data Analyst II to join our team at our facility in Chester, PA. Please note that this is a fully on-site role. To be successful in this role, previous experience in a manufacturing setting is essential. The Data Analyst II is responsible for managing and ensuring accuracy of Dynamic Master Data in the ERP system and partnering with Engineering and Enterprise Applications to ensure/manage Dynamic Master Data in PLM system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen understanding of data governance principles.

How you'll contribute:

  • Ensure accuracy of submitted ECOs and assign to appropriate Base Data resources

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality, availability, and timeliness

  • Generate and present regular reports on data quality metrics and improvement progress to senior management

  • Lead data clean up projects

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity for Operations Dynaminc Master Data sets

  • Respond to request for changes to master data in a timely manner, evaluate the need, scope, approve/reject. Pass to Data Entry for input or complete the request

  • Manage BOM deviations and/or alternate parts

  • Enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain the quality and consistency of base data

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, data stewardship, and data quality requirements

  • Oversee the creation, collection, storage, and maintenance of base data of Item Master Data

  • Implement data quality controls and data validation processes to prevent inaccuracies and ensure data consistency

  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies, working collaboratively with relevant teams to address root causes

  • Leverage data management tools and solutions to enhance data accuracy, accessibility, and reporting capabilities

You'll also support by:

  • Diagnosing and correcting issues in the ERP system relating to Base Data. Implement or improve data entry to resolve future occurrences

  • Assessing and enhancing base data management processes, workflows, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, business administration, or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in ERP base data management, data governance, or a related field

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in ERP data management, MS Dynamics AX 2012 highly preferred, Infor LN desired

  • Proficiency in data management tools, data modeling, and data quality assurance techniques

  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, practices, and principles

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Experience with data management platforms, databases, and data integration technologies
