Floater

About the Role:

The Variable Hour Floater/Cleaner  plays a vital role in providing coverage for leaves of absence, last minute call outs, emergency work requested by the client, and filling vacancies when needed. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of indoor (and outdoor where requested) spaces. The Floater will be responsible for floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Additionally, the role requires adherence to safety procedures while operating machinery and using cleaning chemicals. Ultimately, the Floater contributes to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the workplace, promoting a positive atmosphere for productivity.

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm -   1 position open
• 2nd Shift - 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm - 1 position open
• 3rd Shift - 10:00 pm - 6:30 am - 1 position open

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable Personal Transportation – You will be required to drive your own vehicle to and from all locations assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of office spaces, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Dusting
  • Glass Cleaning
  • Empty Trash
  • Restocking Paper Products
• Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift 10+ pounds regularly
• Bend, stretch, twist, reach above head, squat, walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Climb stairs

Daily tasks will involve using various cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable.
