Support, lead, and elevate daily operations across K–12 foodservice sites. As Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in team development, cost control, food safety, and service excellence—helping deliver a consistent, high-quality experience that meets district goals and exceeds expectations. You will report to the General Manager.

Compensation:

$60,000

You Will:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent execution of food quality, portioning, presentation, and service standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Support team leadership and development, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management to drive engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Drive financial performance by managing labor (MPLH), controlling food and supply costs, and ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to financial policies.
  • Ensure compliance and operational excellence by following all company, district, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, sanitation, labor, and workplace standards.
  • Partner with the General Manager and district stakeholders to meet client expectations, support site operations as needed, and deliver an outstanding customer experience for students, staff, and families.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of foodservice or hospitality experience, including fresh food production
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management, culinary arts, nutrition, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management (MPLH), inventory, and cost control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and POS or reporting systems
  • Must be able to meet all pre-employment requirements, including background check, fingerprinting, and (if applicable) a clean driving record
