Job DetailsJob Location: Logan University - Chesterfield, MO 63017SUMMARY: Performs a variety of work in maintenance to buildings and grounds on campus and at satellite clinics by performing the following duties:   PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    Replace, test, or repair electrical equipment such as light fixtures and electrical circuitry. Install computer cables throughout the building and install new electrical circuits on a daily basis.  Assist in repairing and adjusting tables and perform tasks pertaining to all types of small repairs.  Assist other trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting, etc.).  Assist Grounds Crew with snow removal and any other tasks when necessary.  Assist other departments with maintenance and electrical needs.  Read work orders and specifications to perform routine preventive maintenance.  Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work sites. QualificationsCOMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have good interpersonal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation skills.  Must be able to interact with people at several different levels in the college in a professional manner.  Must react well under pressure.  Must have good project management skills and be able to complete projects on time, within budget, and within deadline.  Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities.    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
