A Day In The Life:
Position will have responsibility for managing non-commodity risk positions, including responsibility for both cash and trading position. This position will support the Director Product Line Management Palm & Specialty with non-commodity execution, contract management, month end analysis, while influencing product portfolio, capacity management, product development pipelines, and strategic initiatives.

 What You'll Be Doing:
•   Responsibility for the non-commodity trading position, including working with the traders of adjacent markets on most economical flows.  This includes all third-party procurement for refined and specialty oils and managing our overall message to the market non-commodity oils.Â
•   Manage the non-commodity risk/pipeline/marketing plan. Ensure daily positions are updated, balanced and accurate.
•   Responsible for all specialty non-commodity procurement. Responsible to follow and be knowledgeable within all relevant markets.  Responsible to approve deviations as necessary.Â
•   Support the management of the Specialty Programs with Sales Leads & Oils Product Line Managers.  Monitor risk of the program, help define a clear PNL, and work with sales to accurately set margins and prices.
•   Develop and maintain relationships with the oil sales team.  Increase their understanding of the market, and shape messaging to customers, including in person meetings.Â

Skills/Experience Requirements:
•   Bachelor’s degree in agriculture discipline.
•   6-10 years related trading experience required.
•   Strong working knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word as well as basic computer functions.
•   Understanding of cash and futures markets required.
•   Understanding of domestic and export markets with emphasis on both origin and destination export business required.
•   Knowledge of North American crush and refining margins, freight spreads, and a strong understanding of supply and demand (both internal and external).
