Position: Production and Maintenance Technician Apprentice
Location: Chestnut Hill, TN
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts; 4 on 4 off
Pay Rate: $31.87

What You’ll Be Doing:

Have a “Teamwork” and “Root Cause Problem Solving Mindset”
Own and follow Safety policies and procedures.
Complete training from positions of Production Associate to Assembly Mechanic.
Daily job duties are Maintainer role in Production performing Quality checks and unplanned breakdown repair if required
Perform preventative maintenance as required (On a monthly basis)
Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing the equipment.
Conduct inspection of in-process and finished products and adhere to quality standards.
Jointly responsible for required operating data such as production figures, machine performance, efficiencies, maintenance, quality / spoilage.
Record keeping of job tasks on paper and in computer system.
Supply and maintain required hand tools. (3-month tie frame)
Perform clean-up, painting, and housekeeping duties.
Record keeping of tasks in an off shift position with rotating shifts that will require overtime including weekends

We’d love to hear from you if:

You have experience in an industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial and motor controls a plus but not required
Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending and twisting; lifting up to 50 lbs
Working independently and managing multiple tasks in an off shift position with rotating shifts that will require overtime including weekends
