FCP is a leading real estate investment company that has invested in or financed more than $13 billion in assets nationally since its founding in 1999. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Washington, DC team. 

 

YOUR IMPACT:

As a Real Estate Financial Analyst, you will support our clients and investment decisions by:

  • Assisting with all aspects of sourcing, underwriting and closing multifamily investments
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, operating budgets, rent rolls, and capital expenditure budgets
  • Researching and evaluating economic, demographic and detailed real estate market data
  • Conducting property site inspections and market tours (travel will be required)
  • Creating financial analyses, including cash flow projections and investment return calculations
  • Creating memos for presentation to senior acquisitions and/or asset management personnel
  • Coordinating/managing due diligence review and closing process
  • Assisting with arranging and closing debt financing

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials, with preference for candidates with internship experience and/or majors in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics or Accounting and 1-2 years of experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial real estate principles, market analysis, and valuation
  • Prior internship or relevant experience in real estate (commercial, investment, or development) preferred
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to work in office five days per week.
