Identifies and directs employment and workforce development objectives in accordance with NEW Health and department strategic plans Implements, maintains, and improves employment and workforce development programs as well as the development of processes, metrics, and technology to support organizational goals. Responsible for overseeing key workforce functions such as employee training and external partnership development, including academic program relations. Responsible for overseeing key Human Resources functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, and supporting provider recruitment processes. Oversees HR operations, including HRIS, employee lifecycle processes, and HR reporting and analytics. Provides guidance to management on the resolution of employee relations matters as necessary. Manages HR budget, vendor relationships, and benefit program administration to ensure value, compliance, and employee experience. Directs HR and workforce teams supporting recruiting, training, and employee relations Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources and workforce training areas. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment. Performs other duties as assigned. Travel may be required. QualificationsQualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or Human Resource Management preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of three years’ experience in human resources required. Supervisory experience required. Experience in healthcare industry preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.  Skills: Computer skills required. Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources functions required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent organization and follow-up skills required. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and changing priorities required. Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people at all levels in the organization.  Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit. The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
