Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging at St Josephs Hospital-Chewelah

Schedule: 0.01 FTE, Per Diem, Variable Shift

$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. 

Provides quality care to patients.  Performs Radiology/CT exams proficiently to provide Inland Imaging Radiologist with accurate information to reach an interpretation.  Participates in scheduled 24 hour on call availability, assuring evening and weekend coverage.  Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.  Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management.

The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operation s as outlined in the job's position description.  Typical responsibility includes: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: The equivalent of two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year experience or equivalent.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
