Assist with the selection, specification, and installation of furnishing projects for all assigned projects. Provide outstanding product application and design solutions for projects. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities CLIENT PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT: Confer with client and sales rep to determine factors affecting interior planning, such as budget, aesthetic preferences and purpose and function of the space. Apply independent thinking and value-add to take client and sales rep input and deliver the best possible solutions. Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, furniture layout, color coordination and fabric selection. Select or design, commercial office furniture, carpet, artwork, wall coverings and window treatments. Prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations to clients. Presentations may include presentation boards, finishes schedule, furniture cut sheets, floor plans, 3D drawings & color renderings. Verify availability and suitability of interior colors and materials. ADMINISTRATIVE: Conduct specification review and check. Assure proper components/product application is maintained. Assist in organizing and maintaining design room. Stay consistent with Eakes’ design standards and templates. Field verification and inventories of product. INSTALLATIONS: Prepare clear and concise drawings/instructions. Scaled renderings need to illustrate, dimensions; work surface heights; special bracketry, etc. Coordinate project with sales representatives, product manager, installation crew, and client. COLLABORATION: Team sales approach with sales, management, and manufacturers to satisfy the customer’s needs. Work with industry professionals to coordinate projects. OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Interior Design Registration with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) or International Interior Design Association (IIDA) desired Previous experience in office furniture or A&D community desired 2 years of experience in the field of Interior Design desired Commercial Interior Design experience preferred Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Systems & CET Designer and BlueBeam Revu Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Other High attention to detail Ability to manage, prioritize, and follow thru on multiple projects Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work under time deadlines Team player Self-motivated and able to take initiative Highly developed communication skills Comfortable presenting ideas in large group or individual settings Clear judgement and problem-solving abilities
