About the role

 

 

Our Maintenance team focuses on plant reliability and minimizing downtime in close collaboration with the Production Supervisor and other plant departments.

 

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation, upkeep, and safety of our chemical plant facilities and equipment. You will spend the majority of your time in the field coaching team members, optimizing maintenance processes, and moving the manufacturing operation from a reactionary repair mode to a proactive, orderly system.

 

  • You will be accountable for:

 

    • Leading and motivating the maintenance team while fostering a culture of safety, high productivity, and exceptional repair quality.
    • Coordinating work schedules with production personnel to prioritize, scope, plan, schedule, and execute daily and emergency maintenance tasks.
    • Managing store inventory including the procurement, storage, labeling, and inventory control of all machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
    • Driving continuous reliability through identifying, scoping, and executing small projects, while tracking costs and activities using the CMMS (RCS) system.
    • Overseeing team development by managing the maintenance training program, monitoring mechanic progress, and adjusting training plans as needed.

About you

 

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Requires 5 or more years of experience in a chemical plant or related industry, including at least 3 years working directly in maintenance.

 

Competencies:

 

    • Ability to provide mechanical and electrical expertise to help mechanics perform high-quality, reliable repairs.
    • Strict enforcement of safety regulations, regular risk assessments, safety audits, and mandatory PPE compliance (including respirators, hard hats, and acid-resistant clothing).
    • Proficient in managing computer maintenance software, data entry/retrieval, purchase requisitions, and accounts payable verification.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $95,000/yr to $118,000/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
