ELS is hiring for the position of Internal Audit Intern in Chicago, Illinois.What you’ll do:Â
The Internal Audit Intern assists the Internal Audit department with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 process walkthroughs and testing.Â
Â
Your job will include:Â
Retrieve data from various systems.Â
Scan documents as required.Â
Review and document results.Â
Control mapping and update as needed.Â
Assist with running reports and preparing audit work for onsite audits.Â
Assist with local onsite audits.Â
Â
Experience & skills you’ll need:Â
Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably with an Accounting or Finance focus.Â
Grade point average of 3.0 or higher.Â
No experience required. Â
Problem solving skills in a customer-focused environment.Â
Strong written and verbal communications skills.Â
Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.Â

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is:
Hourly: $18.00 - $23.00The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
