A Practice Lead at Perficient blends broad solution and practice leadership with technology expertise. In this role, you will be our go-to expert for Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, guiding the GTM strategy for the organization and growing Perficient's overall capabilities while working with enterprise clients on modern data-platform transformations. You will:

• Oversee the growth of Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform by defining and executing go-to-market strategies in-line with Perficient and Microsoft direction

• Maintain and expand Microsoft relationships, serving as a key point of contact for the Fabric business inside Perficient

• Act as a subject matter expert, actively guiding technical solutions, sales enablement and innovation in this space

• Own Fabric evangelism and presales conversations, partnering with account teams to shape new opportunities.

• Work with clients to strategize their Fabric Lakehouse and Real-Time Analytics solutions

As part of Perficient's Microsoft Business Unit, you will mentor architects and consultants, influence practice direction, and represent Perficient in the growing Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and drive the Go To Market capability for Microsoft Fabric implementations and EDW modernizations.

• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft product roadmaps, client funding mechanisms and capabilities in this space

• Lead discovery workshops to capture business and technical requirements for data ingestion, modeling, analytics, and visualization.

• Develop and lead practice strategies around technical capabilities such as:

o Fabric Lakehouse architectures

o Fabric Pipelines / Data Factory ETL & ELT processes

o Fabric Warehouses

o Real-Time Analytics solutions

o Power BI semantic models

• Produce high-quality sales enablement material that aligns to Microsoft direction.

• Guide both sellers and delivery on the capabilities in this space.

• Liaise with offshore teams to drive global capabilities that expand client options.

• Mentor colleagues on Fabric best practices and contribute to Perficient's Fabric community of practice.

• Support sales pursuits with demos, POVs, and statements of work.

Your experience working with Microsoft will be key in building out a go to market strategy and enable Perficient sellers with the right messaging and key materials. Additionally, you will foster an engaging colleague culture that inspires strong team and individual performance, in line with Perficient's People Promise.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10–15 years of professional experience, including 5 + years leading practices
  • • Experience working with the Microsoft channel with a current rolodex of contacts in good standing.
  • • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric across all experiences (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Data Science, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI).
  • • Proven ability to drive go-to-market strategies focused on helping clients maintain and modernize enterprise data warehouses (EDW) while implementing Fabric-based architectures.
  • • Hands-on front-end (Power BI dashboards, semantic modeling) and back-end (Lakehouse, pipelines, warehouses) consulting experience.
  • • Leadership history in professional-services/consulting environments, including capability development, project estimation and client workshop facilitation.
  • • Possesses a strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.
  • • Microsoft certifications such as:
  • o DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • o DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate
  • o PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • • Strong grasp of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework principles, data-governance concepts, and Purview integration.
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Experience leading globally distributed teams; willingness to mentor junior staff.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • • Must be willing to travel as client and project needs dictate.
