We are looking for a Design Manager (Project Manager) to manage healthcare projects throughout the North Central Region. What You Will DoĀ
Lead collaborative design teams, working closely with Design Director andPrincipal- in- Charge(PIC), to establish effective project workplans with attainable project objectivesĀ
Manage all phases of healthcare architecture and interior design projects, from project set-up through design and construction administrationĀ
Help prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding processĀ
Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set-up with clients, sub-consultants, vendors and contractorsĀ
Actively support firmwide sustainability and resilience goals, guiding clients and project teams toward multi-benefit sustainable and resilient design solutionsĀ
Track financial performance of projectsĀ
Develop and maintain client relationships, for both single projects and multi-project global accountsĀ
Ā
Your QualificationsĀ Ā
Experience leading architectural and planning projects for healthcare clients (medical centers, medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers, etc.).Ā
Experience leading large scale and complex projects and mentoring architects and designersĀ
15+ years of related experienceĀ managing healthcare architecture and interior architecture projects
Integrated into the localNorth Central Region communities with positive healthcare client referencesĀ
Experience developing high performance sustainable building projectsĀ
LEED accreditation is preferredĀ
Strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal management skillsĀ
Commitment to collaborative design processĀ
Experience negotiating project scope and feesĀ
Knowledge of local building codes and standardsĀ
Proficiency with PM software: MS project a plusĀ
Working knowledge of Revit preferredĀ
Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited programĀ
Licensed architectĀ Ā
