The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project implementation and execution through completion of construction for industrial projects. This position will assist the PDS Market Lead and Senior Leadership in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards and excellence across the market.Job Description
Essential Job Duties:Ā
Financial managementĀ of project:Ā establishĀ and manage project budgets,Ā maintainĀ monthly forecasts and cash flow analysis, prepareĀ anticipatedĀ cost reports and any other reports as required by the client.Ā
Develop a detailed project budget based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptions.Ā
Develop andĀ maintainĀ the Master Project Schedule; actively track each aspect of the project performance against schedules and criticalĀ path.Ā
Prepare various RFQās and/orĀ RFPāsĀ needed for vendor and contractor services for the complete project.Ā
Guide the client and team through the design implementation process along withĀ short to medium termĀ planning.Ā
Facilitate a project kick-off meeting with internal staff, design team,Ā clientĀ and key stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are communicated and understood by all involved/concerned with the project.Ā
Management of due diligence, programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, procurement, design team selection, budget, schedule creation/management, contractor selection, vendor selection,Ā sustainabilityĀ and post construction services.Ā
Oversee capital improvement programs with design and construction processes at multiple sites through local/account-based resources.Ā
Negotiate contracts and performance management with selected contracted vendors, consultants, etc.Ā
Extensive interface with client staff, propertyĀ managersĀ and vendors.Ā
DemonstrateĀ proficiencyĀ in the use and application of all PDS technology asĀ requiredĀ for assigned projects.Ā
Inform Manager and/or Market Lead of allĀ project, internal and client issues affecting theĀ perceptionĀ and reputation of Cushman & Wakefield.Ā
IdentifyĀ and address areas of concernĀ regardingĀ potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation,Ā errorsĀ and omissions, etc.) to Manager and/or Market Lead.Ā
Education/Experience/Training:Ā
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, BusinessĀ AdministrationĀ or related field.Ā
10 or more years of related experience.Ā
Advanced project management skills withĀ demonstratedĀ understanding ofĀ industrialĀ project management business.Ā Ā
Ability to support and/or lead business development initiatives as assigned or requested.Ā Ā Ā
Experience inĀ client relations, client management, contract negotiations, and consulting skills.Ā Ā Ā
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate analyzed data toĀ clientĀ and projectĀ teamĀ to achieve project goals.Ā Ā Ā
Strong working knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts.Ā Ā
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidateās experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
