Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and ensuring that food is prepared and presented with high quality and consistency.

What You'll Do:

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients

Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications

Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion

Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift

Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of service

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team

What You Bring:

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role

Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one)

Language Skills

Experience as a line cook in a similar environment preferred

High School Diploma or GED

Salary Range:

$23.00 -$26.50/hour
