Tempel, a Worthington Steel company, is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to support our stamping and annealing operations. This role is 90% electrical/controls with a heavy focus on Allen Bradley PLC‑5 troubleshooting.

1st Shift | 6:00am–2:00pm |

What You’ll Do (Core of the Job)

  • Read and interpret ladder logic and electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot 480V motor control circuits, drives, and power distribution
  • Diagnose and coordinate machine electrical issues and fault messages
  • Test electrical/electronic components for continuity, voltage, and resistance

Equipment You’ll Work On

  • Stamping presses and annealing furnaces
  • AC/DC drives, VFDs, servo systems
  • Overhead cranes
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • 480V motor control circuits

What You Bring

  • 5+ years industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Strong Allen Bradley PLC‑5 troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read ladder logic and electrical prints
  • Experience with drives, motor controls, and automation
  • Comfortable in heavy manufacturing

Preferred: Rockwell legacy systems, hydraulics/pneumatics, journeyman certification.
