Job Description

AECOM is seeking a ACE Administration Interns to join the Chicago, IL team.

ACE Summer Interns will perform a range of assignments in support of various departments. The assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. The tasks may involve the preparation of various reports or other documents, performing calculations, developing drawings and visual aids, presentations, participation in various meetings and events, and administrative tasks and general support.

This position is expected to begin in June 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

  • Interns will work under the supervision of a project manager and/or an experienced team member. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing Highschool and must have completed at least three years of study.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates who are in the ACE Mentor Program are preferred. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
