As the Business Analyst you will help facilitate new business opportunities for UGE to drive revenue growth and market expansion while maintain relationships with our customers we are servicing. This includes communicating all new business opportunities to different UGE groups, receive inputs from different stakeholders and quantify feedback into a proposal. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Airline trends, strong communication skills, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining successful business relationships. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large and complex data sets, and able to balance detailed analysis with an understanding of the broader business and operational environment. This individual should be a strong problem-solver who can identify trends, challenge assumptions, and communicate findings effectively to both financial and operational stakeholders.

How you will make an impact:
Â
- Develop and maintain detailed pricing and financial models for new business opportunities, contract renewals, repricing initiatives, and changes in operational scope
- Analyze labor requirements, flight schedules, staffing models, operating costs, equipment needs, and other key pricing inputs
- Evaluate the financial performance and profitability of airline contracts, stations, customers, and service offerings
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of changes in wages, staffing levels, flight schedules, volumes, operating requirements, and contractual terms
- Review historical data, operational trends, and business assumptions to support accurate forecasts and pricing recommendations
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and other internal teams to gather information and validate modeling assumptions
- Support the preparation of responses to requests for proposals, contract renewals, and other customer pricing requests
- Monitor actual financial and operational results against pricing assumptions, budgets, and forecasts
- Identify financial risks, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve profitability or operating efficiency
- Build standardized tools, templates, and reporting processes to improve consistency and efficiency of pricing and financial analysis
- Prepare executive-level summaries, presentations, and recommendations that clearly communicate key findings, risks, and business impacts
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support leadership decisions and broader business development initiatives

What you will bring:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Experience in business analysis, financial analysis, pricing, revenue management, operations analysis, or a related analytical role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, sensitivity analysis, and financial model development
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop well-supported recommendations
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate assumptions, identify inconsistencies, and independently investigate issues
- Ability to communicate financial and analytical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing requests and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of leadership
- Up to 20% travel

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills
Â
- Experience in the airline, aviation, airport services, ground handling, transportation, logistics, or another labor-intensive operational environment
- Experience building labor-based pricing or staffing models
- Knowledge of airline operations, including flight schedules, ground handling activities, station staffing, or airport operations
- Experience analyzing contracts, service-level requirements, operating scopes, or customer pricing structures
- Experience with financial planning systems, data visualization tools, or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with SQL, Power Query, or other data analysis tools is a plus
