Burrito Beach is hiring a Cashier/Front Line Cook with a pay range of $20-$24 per hour.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have 1 to 3 years of restaurant experience.
Responsibilities include accurately preparing food orders, processing transactions, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
Applicants must obtain a Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment and pass a background check for airport locations.

Cashier/Front Line Cook - Burrito Beach - $20-$24/hour

Must be able to quickly and accurately prepare and serve menu items and/or process transactions in a friendly and safe manner.

Responsibilities:

Receive/prepare accurate food orders.
Collect payments for customer purchases via POS system.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Ability to work calmly under pressure.
1 to 3 years of restaurant experience.
Obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.

Skills/Experience:

Maintain food safety and cleanliness at all times.
Adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols.
Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check (airport location only).

Requirements:

Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Able to stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
Able to instantly bend, twist, or lift over shoulders on a regular basis.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the quality of the product.
