Role Overview: The Client Engagement Manager will own management of program-driven initiatives for key clients, with emphasis on content, clinical trials, and regulatory-aligned program delivery. This role partners with Content, Marketing, Editorial, Design, Product, and Sales to drive program execution, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help build scalable program frameworks, manage risks, and improve delivery speed and adoption across multiple accounts. The Client Engagement Manager will report directly to the Director of Client Engagement, within the Commercial Operations org structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery for editorial product and clinical-trial-adjacent initiatives ensuring compliance, on-time delivery, and white glove service.

  • Own onboarding and operational readiness for clinical trials, sponsored and branded programs; develop onboarding trackers and dashboards to monitor progress, protocol adherence, and risk early.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with content, editorial, marketing, and sales initiatives, coordinating stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Editorial, Design, and Sales to align objectives and drive accountability.

  • Support go-to-market and trial-related initiatives for content programs, advocacy activities while ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment.

  • Standardize onboarding workflows, templates, checklists, and SOPs to reduce friction and enable scalable execution across teams.

  • Manage risk, issue resolution, and escalation with clear communication to senior leadership; maintain transparency through reporting dashboards.

  • Optimize tool usage to improve visibility, documentation quality, and cross-team handoffs, train teams on new processes and tools.

  • Serve as client/partner liaison for high-impact, regulated pharma initiatives, ensuring compliance, data integrity, confidentiality, and quality of deliverables.

  • Oversee events and program-related activities (virtual/in-person) tied to ad program delivery.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of program management or related experience in digital health, including Pharma, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience with onboarding, operational readiness, and end-to-end program management for multiple initiatives.

  • Ability to manage complex, regulated programs and align stakeholders across content, marketing, editorial, product, and sales.

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to build dashboards

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Project Management credentials or coursework a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharma, advocacy, clinical trials, patient engagement, or regulatory-compliant health communications.

  • Familiarity with clinical trials or regulatory-aligned programs.

  • Background in onboarding standardization, SOP development, and scalable program frameworks for content-driven/pharma programs.

  • Familiarity with editorial processes, clinician outreach, and patient education materials.

  • Experience coordinating large-scale events or clinical-trial-related activities; understanding regulatory considerations in pharma.

  • Commitment to health equity and community impact.
