TractEasy is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the full lifecycle of customer and partner contracts — from upfront sales negotiations through project execution and into long-term service and support agreements.

This role serves as a critical commercial and operational bridge, ensuring contractual clarity, risk mitigation, margin protection, and execution alignment across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams. The Contract Manager will drive deal velocity while safeguarding company interests and enabling scalable growth.


Key Responsibilities


1) Contract Negotiation & Deal Structuring

· Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers and partners.

· Draft, review, and redline contracts including:

o Master Service Agreements (MSAs)

o Statements of Work (SOWs)

o Equipment sales agreements

o RaaS / software licenses

o Autonomous vehicle / technology deployment agreements

· Partner with Sales to structure commercially viable deals that balance competitiveness and risk.

· Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks.


2) Sales Support & Pre-Award Management

· Support RFP/RFQ responses with contractual and commercial input.

· Ensure pricing, payment milestones, and acceptance frameworks with Finance and Sales meet company standards.

· Ensure alignment between proposals, technical scope, and contractual commitments.

· Accelerate deal closure timelines through proactive stakeholder coordination.


3) Project Execution Governance

· Support project launch team with contract interpretation and translation of contractual obligations into execution requirements.

· Manage contract changes, amendments, and scope adjustments.

· Support dispute resolution and claims management when needed.


4) Long-Term Service & Support Agreements

· Structure and negotiate multi-year service, maintenance, and support contracts.

· Ensure SLAs, response times, spares, and lifecycle support models meet company standards.

· Support contract performance teams on renewals and expansions.


5) Contract Lifecycle Management

· Maintain contract repository and version control.

· Track key dates:

o Renewals

o Escalators

o Warranty expirations

o Termination windows

· Implement contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.

· Continuously improve contracting processes and tools.

· Product & Engineering (for scope and performance terms)


Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in contract management with a commercial finance orientation, or legal operations with a very strong business and financial mindset, used to owning negotiations and making pragmatic risk/value trade-offs

· Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.

· Experience supporting capital equipment, automation, robotics, or technology deployments preferred.

· Strong understanding of contract law principles and risk frameworks.

· Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to travel up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, logistics, or airport technologies.

· Familiarity with SaaS + hardware bundled agreements.

· Paralegal certification or JD (not required).

· Experience with government or public sector contracts.

· Knowledge of international contracting terms (Incoterms, export compliance).
