We are looking for a Corporate Event Planner focused on Learning Programs to join our team in Chicago. Protiviti works in a hybridĀ environmentĀ and this role requires that you work in-person in our office several times per week.Ā

What YouĀ Will Be DoingĀ 

  • Design, plan, and deliver high-impact, memorable learning experiencesĀ for in person and live virtual learning programs;Ā within budget by managing all pre-event, event, and post-event details seamlessly with program leaders, meeting planners, vendors, participants, facilitators, executive leaders and more.Ā 

  • Lead event planning byĀ reviewingĀ contracts,Ā locatingĀ offsite venues, negotiatingĀ terms, and assessingĀ quality to ensure flawless execution of events of learning programs.Ā 

  • Execute learning event preparationĀ whichĀ includes creating name tags/tent cards, printing & organizing supplies, updating & emailing program materials,Ā acting as theĀ onsiteĀ point-of-contactĀ for all vendors, andĀ assistingĀ with AV needs.Ā Ā 

  • SupportĀ learning centers and offices.Ā This includes shipping and receiving,Ā assistingĀ withĀ building access,Ā arranging the classroom, placing supply orders,Ā assistingĀ with catering needs, andĀ maintainingĀ anĀ organized & tidyĀ space.Ā 

  • Monitor and evaluate event performance toĀ accomplishĀ learningĀ objectivesĀ and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Ā 

  • Establish, develop, andĀ maintainĀ relationships internally with stakeholders.Ā 

  • Stay up to date on best practices andĀ new trendsĀ in eventsĀ and learning.Ā 

  • This role may have travel expectations up toĀ 40-50%.Ā 

  • As the Learning & Development team is global, you may occasionallyĀ be requiredĀ to workĀ outsideĀ typicalĀ businessĀ hours to accommodate meetings across multiple time zones.Ā

Your Educational and Professional QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degreeĀ 

  • 5+Ā years of event management experienceĀ 

  • PreviousĀ experience working inĀ Learning & Development, HR, or Business OperationsĀ (preferred)Ā

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$73,000.00 - $110,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$78,840.00 - $118,800.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
