This role is crucial in ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and presentable, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in all areas of the facility. - Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. - Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated areas. - Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance or replenishment needs to the supervisor. - Respond promptly to any spills or other cleaning emergencies. - Assist in setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as needed. - Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Report any facility maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. - Collaborate with team members to ensure the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. - Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the operational needs of the company. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred. - Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal. - Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. - Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes. - Basic understanding of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them to maintain a safe working environment. - Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and report any maintenance issues. - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
