We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Executive with 15+ years of direct Delivery Executive and Project Management experience in the healthcare payer domain. This role is responsible for leading large-scale health plan program implementations, coordinating workstreams, and ensuring successful delivery of operational and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in health plan IT assessments, managing project impacts, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as overall delivery executive accountable for delivering client projects.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for health plan programs, from initiation through deployment and stabilization.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Drive coordination across functional workstreams such as integrations, benefits, claims, provider operations, member services, and compliance.
  • Facilitate risk identification and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project and operational impacts.
  • Communicates project status, risks, and impacts to executive sponsors, steering committees, and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Ensure project activities align with regulatory requirements (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Exchange, DSNP, etc.) and client operational goals.
  • Oversee issue tracking, escalation management, and resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Manage cross-functional resources, both internal and client-facing, to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Drive process improvements and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable operational success post-implementation.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Delivery Executive and Project Management experience (must be as a Project Manager; Leads or Senior Business Analyst roles will not qualify).
  • Proven success managing large-scale healthcare payer implementations or operational programs.
  • Strong knowledge of health plan functions such as claims, provider networks, utilization management, member services, benefits and integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex dependencies across technology and business operations.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and impact analysis for health plan operations.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field; PMP certification strongly preferred.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with TriZetto Facets, QNXT, HealthRules, or other payer core administration platforms.
  • Experience with regulatory-driven implementations (CMS, Medicaid agencies, Exchange requirements).
  • Prior consulting client-facing project leadership and management experience.
